Adjusting Brake Pedal Travel
My 94ex seems to have alot of travel in the brake pedal. Is there anyway to adjust the amount of slack before the brake engage?
Thanks,

Try bleeding them. I know that mine need to be bled bad (changed caliper and didn't bleed them enough) and the pedal has alot of travel. Try that first. THen adjust the pedal if needed.
while were talking about pedal adjustment.... is there a way to adjust the catch point of your clutch?? mine seems to have gotten more towards the end. Is it possible to adjust this or is this just a sign that my clutch is going out?

its either your clutch or your flywheel being worn down. it happened to my friend.
as for the brake pedal travel you can do much unless you get a bigger master cylinder. if you have drum brakes in the rear you can adjust it but will only help a little.

How long has your brake travel been too much? Did change your brakes, master cylinder, booster, or proportioning valve? I upgraded all of those parts (ITR brakes, ITR master cylinder/booster, Civic Si prop. valve, Goodridge brake lines), and the mechanic set the brake pedal too stiff. As I was driving home, it got stiffer and stiffer and it eventually got so stiff that the brakes became clamped to the calipers even when I wasn't braking and I was no longer able to drive my car anymore. I got my car towed back to the shop and they made the brake pedal feel very mushy (lots of travel). They told me to drive it for a while and it should break in. And it did. After driving a while, the brake pedal travel eventually became back to normal. If you recently had any brake work done, I would drive around for a while and see if it gets better. If you didn't, then I would suggest bringing you car to the dealer for service. Oh, and you can adjust the pedal by turning some screw directly below the brake pedal. That's how the mechanic made these adjustments on my car. But I would not recommend tightening it unless you really know what you are doing. You don't want to be driving and all of a sudden have the calipers stuck on the rotors, forcing you to pull to the side and call a tow truck.
