Question for everyone who got their JDM front end converions used. I just wanted to know where you guys got it and when you received it......how was the condition? TIA (for all those who will tell me to do the search...........I HAVE and none of them talk about the "condition") I want to know if they were pretty decent?

 

My friends conversion came in used and the awesome condition. I forgot where he got it from though.

 

ive seen some, come in with a lot of dents sraight from JDM land. Others ive seen from people who have put them on the car are in WAY better condition and they ship with more care. PM benbuilt4u, he sells them and i mean ask him how the come to him

Most of the time they are in Good condition.,...Mostly a few scratches,...(PASSWORDJDM )Mine came w/ a few scratches and 1 dent in the Blk Fender,..but I asked for ALL Blk parts,..so That was probbaly the worst pick becasue 95% of ITR's in JAPAN are CW.
Got all Blk stuff but 1 CW fender which was in Awesome condition.
$650 is what I payed for paint and Fix of all the dents...not bad in my book.
The bumper was in Great condition as well as the hood.(didn';t have to paint the underneath of the hood or Rad support) so thats mainly why.


My 1st conversion I got(wholesalehyperformance.com) had BRAND new Stamped metal JDM fenders! Still in OEM boxes as well as Headlights.But that was back in 2000-2001.
I wouldn't sweat the condition much,..they will probably have a few Dings and scratches but its gotta be painted anyway.
Just make sure the Fenders aren't cut!Seen a few auctions that said that.Make sure it comes w/ everything(harness',main Bolts,etc)

 

it all depends on where and who you get it from. its a pretty general question, its like asking someone who has bought a used car, how the condition was... its just gonna depend. .. just get it from a reputable dealer and you'll be fine. although sometimes you get screwed. i got my jdm hood from passwordJDM.com and it came in hella dented and scratched, when they said it was in great condition, I emailed them back about it and they basically said "your SOL".

so use common sense, ask alot of questions, then go back to your common sense and make an informed decision.
