quick cooling fan question
your cooling fans come on to cool the motor but im sure we all know that ... is you car overheating does it ever get hot ........ we need more info here to help you out also it just might not of got up to temp to turn the fans on . ...... i know here in the winter in florida i have driven twenty min before the fans will kick on so really depends on how long you are running the motor before you turn the car off
it takes a lot of heat for my coolant fan to come on. the radiator fan automatically comes on with the AC fan and switch. so at least you know its working. i doubt the coolant sensor in the back of the engine is bad, its just your radiator and themorstat doing a good job of keeping temps down.
i did install manual coolant fan switch tho. i use it when im in stop and go traffic and at race events just to be sure.

they come on because when ac compressor is turned on, the motor has to work harder to turn the compressor in turn can make the motor overheat easier unless both fans are turned on. Another reason is the condensor fan need to be on to cool the freon passing through the condensor and the radiator fan is a sidekick to keep the motor cool.
