Underbody Neon Lighting
I know you all want to flame me for asking: But does anyone have any pics of bikes with underbody (or exterior) neon lighting...
I think it doesnt look ricey on a bike and I also want it for better safety at night, so people can see me on the road easier, especially if I am to the side of them.

I have a pic of one on mine... its red and also for sale. Email me at stevevolpe@yahoo.com.
Normally not a fan of neon lighting... but I think on a bike its not a bad idea. Be a helluva lot easier to see you at night, plus, it doesnt look bad in those pics. I'd do it as a safety issue for night riding

nice try at a rational justification, but no.

It'd be easier for police to pick you off in a group of sportbikes and give you crap for blue lighting (imitating a police vehicle). Plus, if a car is not going to see your headlight, how will it see the neon lighting? Well, maybe from the side it's a little more visible, but most motorcycle/car accidents are from the front (Hurt motorcycle report).
On a showbike?
On a streetbike? That's up to you.
(Nice Micron pipe on the R1...how did the gas tank get that tiny little dent?)

So can a bikes stock electrical system handle the extra lights or do you have to modify it somehow to get those to work. I know there is a difference in how bright my headlight is at idle compared to a few thousand RPMs higher, much less with 2-3 extra neon tubes.
I think that bike looks pretty cool like that but you're gonna get pulled over for it or worse have some cager stare blindly at you until he's ontop of you and your bike.
