i was just opened up my storage box , the one with the lock on it directly behind the seats. i noticed the cardboard **** on it is cracked , like someone set something heavy on it. is there any way to buy a new one and switch out the old lock , so i can still use my key . or is the key universal?

yea, i have the same problem too. I had friends sit in the back...like a dumbass i am...

 

bump. i just sat in my friend crx the other day , i bet his is like this now too. it was all caving in like this one is on one side. i didnt notice mine when i first bought my car. it's just been sitting in my neighbors garage since january , so maybe he put something on it , but i doubt it.

 

the lock is exchangable.

 

cool, have you taken one out before? what's the easiest way to get it out and switch them. im gonna buy a box on ebay real soon.
