Help Me Identify This Integra Engine
I was getting some parts from the junkyard the other day when I spotted a late 80's / early 90's Integra. It was a 4-door LS. The 10th digit on the VIN is an "H" which means it's an '87 as far as I know. The only information I can find online says that this engine should be a D16 of some flavor but looking at it, it's clear it's a DOHC. The valvecover is sort of green/gray and it looks a little bigger than a D16. It looks like a non-vtech B18 to this newbie.
Is there a way to identify the engine by itself? The next time I'm there I'll take a digital camera along. The only reason this matters to me is that I can probably get the engine, transmission, axles, computer, and whatever I'd need to swap this engine/trans into my CRX HF for $300. It could double my hp if it's a B18.
Any input would be appreciated.
