i recently purchased a 91 civic si with no motor and tranny and i am going to be putting a dohc zc in it.will the stock si ecu work? or is there a better ecu to use?
The Si one will work.
The Integra one will also work - gives better ignition maps, but runs a little rich.
The ZC ECU obviously would be the ideal ECU.
You might want to try out a custom chip in your Si ECU. There should be a ROM floating around out there that has a good ZC tune.

shouldn't be doing that on the street anyway!
The ZC ECU will be governed at 114 but that can be removed.
ZC ECU code PM7
88-89 Integra PG7

THe speed governer, could be remove with a reprogrammed chip
