Quick VTEC crossover question...
For you guys that have VAFC's etc. and have played with the VTEC point. How low/early can you generally set VTEC on a stock Type R? If you set it really low what happens? Does it sputter and hesitate really badly? Just doing some troubleshooting on a friends car.
Thanks.
Mark
Thanks.

Do it on a dyno or don't do it at all.
Each motor is different, and will act and react differently to mods and tuning, you can lower engagement or raise it but if you ain't dyno tuning it you'll never know if you have any real gains other than guessing.
If they're stock bump stix I'd leave engagement stock till I could tune it properly. If they're aftermarket's I'd still wait to properly tune it.
imho of course
