i recently bought an aem cai from a fellow ht'er. it came with a huge k&n filter.

the filter was pretty dirty and needed to be cleaned. so i cleaned it up with the recharge kit he gave me but it still looks bad.
now i want to replace the filter but i cant fint the exact filter anywhere (i tried calling k&n with the part number and they told me they would call me back )

so what should i replace it with? i'm trying to find somehitng that will flow well and not be tooo big to fit behind the bumper.


any suggestions?

 

search on ebay and get one as the same inches of you pipe.

 

Measure the filter that came with the intake, and you should be able to find a pretty close match here: http://www.greenfilterusa.com/universal.asp

Green Filters have a great reputation, and they're priced similarly to other "high-flow" filters.

 

i have a AEM CAI on my gsr...i replaced it with a new generic filter it's a 3in piping for me..not sure for you....but i heard alot of good things about the HKS filter...the flat looking one...

 

get an apex'i filter, theyre the best
