im planning to buy these speakers 12 in kicker comp vr 4's but i dont know if they are anygood... if they are what kind of Amp should i get be specific plz. thanx

i have used 2 kicker comp vr 12s on an alpine mrv1005 and it was MAD!

you will NOT be dissapointed in these subs BUT they need at least 500 rms from a GOOD BASS amp

but vr '4s'???

never heard of vr4s before?


go up a notch and try the 15s on 600 rms each or the 18s!!!!!

get a really good bass amp a directed 1100D or a crossfore 1000D or a hifonic brutus

have fun!

 

oh yeah make sure they are in a good box! follow the specs in the manual for ported or sealed and you will be fine

the comp vr sounds BETTER but the l7 is LOUDER

take your pick


i'd go for 2 18 cvrs
