Default Rookie/NEWB/not new to honda's

Whats going on everyone? I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Frank Vest, from N. Indiana, stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Yes, Im a Marine. I have 3 years in service, June 11. 1 more year. From here, I plan on moving back to N. Indiana. Now that thats over....I also plan on getting involved with the MHC. I eat sleep and $hit honda's. (honda tuning on the back of the stool) anyways, I'm trying to get into some schools at VIR and pick people's brains there. also, im gonna get the safety, and brake set-up done FIRST! Anyone on the east coast? I would love to come help out at a track, or anything. Anything to just get my hands on at the track. Learn and soak up the info. I have a 94 EX which I plan on making my track car. H4. although Im a little confused. I know its not about power, its about the driver and the Suspension set-up....blah blah blah. but does a B series motor still run in H4 or the hybrid class. Still a 1600.....I just need to get to a track and talk to people. Anyways... any response would be great, and I hope to meet some people, and get involved.

Plenty of east coast people on here, and many in NC. Look up THSCC at http://www.thscc.com and go hit up an autocross. Good place to meet people, ask questions, and give things a try. (It's $20-$25 instead of $300.) Autocrossing will give you valuable crisis-management skills for the track (and racing). They also have a track program.

I'm sure some of the THSCC folks (that are still local) will post up in a while.

Diane ~ who spent 11 years in Raleigh, and is a proud THSCC member since 1997.
