Default 15x7" wheels what slicks

I need a 24.5" tall slick unless you guys think I can get away with a 23" tall slick. on 205/50/15 BFG's I was just about to shift to 5th in the 1/4.

if anyone can think of any slicks that will work let me know....I need a set ASAP

"slicks are 24.5x8.5x15 on 15x7 Team dynamic pro race 1 with a 35mm offset. the offset pushes the wheel out away from the hub, which is why they are rubbing a little bit, but my options were 40mm and 35 and i really didn't want the slick rubbing on my upper control arm, so I opted for the fender."

That looks sick. Full Interior? Nice. What are you running the 1320 in? Post more pics.

that's my car there John, slicks are working out great, little to no burn out and they are grabbing. As always, I would say talk to John about your hp goals, etc, he did great getting the slicks for my cars. Although I need to work on getting my lauches better, I'm still running better than than ever, pulled a 1.85 launching from 6900 on my hondata 3-step.

african: I haven't ran the 1320 yet, so far my best is 8.08@87.78 in the 1/8th with a 1.85 60 ft. This was at 6psi by the way on the built motor. The car has yet to get a cage in it, so I haven't really turned the boost up yet, but I'm suck on backorder waiting on an apexi pressure sensor for the avc-r.

with gunmetal wheels.

on the 1/8th i'm coming out of 3rd at the end of it. They are tall tires, but for 15in rims IMO they are worth it to get a little sidewall flex. The only problem you may encounter is some crowning of the tire, I'm running at 9-10psi during my runs and I'm getting a full contact patch.

Thank You for the kind words seen4ever; you wait and see as the slicks break in you will go fast and fast and fast LOL.

yeah john is a good guy for sure. he always seems to do his best for all of us on here. problem now being is that I measured the wheels today and from inside lip to inside lip they are 15x6 so now I either have to find a slick that will fit that or look for a cheap set of 15x7's

you could run the M&H 23x7.5x15. A little smaller but might work.

The wheels I bought were pretty cheap, around 280 shipped for both.

I agree with John though, as they break in you just seem to go faster, or atleast you keep messing with the boost controller to make you go faster

i just ordered some 24.5x8x15's today to see how they hold up . they shouldnt be too bad at low boost. But im just mounting them on my stock ITR rims for now. I had 22x8x15's on them before with no probs.
