Is it normal for Momo steering wheels to spin loose?
I just purchased a car that had a momo steering wheel. Not one of those quick release types, apparently this one screws on?
If I turn my wheel to the left it spins loose and the wheels to not respond to the steering wheel. How do you lock these in position so it doesn't do this?

Are you talking about the big 19mm(i think thats the size) nut that holds the boss to the collum or the 6 tiny screws that hold the wheel to the boss?
If the big nut breaks loose you probably have the wrong size boss because there are splines that should keep it from spinning. Thats a serious problem that should be addressed before you drive the car again.

I dont know much about aftermarket steering wheels, my car just happend to come with one. Its the wheel itself spinning around the actual hub. Thats the beset way I can discribe it. How do i access this "big nut" you're refering to? Do i have to get inside the steering colomn ?

Heres a pic to help.

The "big nut" is underneath the horn button.
If you see my steering wheel is attached to a round black cylindar with 6 screws thats the "boss".
If you remove the horn button and then remove that big nut in there you should be able to pull the whole deal off of the collum.
Then you will see some splines on the inside of the boss those should fit perfectly onto the steering collum. if they dont you have the wrong boss.

if its a MOMO it has a big nylock nut holding the boss down. you have to look down into the boss.
