90 Integra LS - ECU code 8 won't start.
Driving along freeway car sputters, then dies, starts for 2 seconds then dies again. Turns over sputters every now again but never actualy fires. Towed home. Check ECU codes none. Pull the plugs, they are good, replace fuel filter (nasty figue thats it) no go. Plugs get wet so I figure at least some gas gets there and I pulled the banjo(sp?) bolt out on top of the fuel rail and when the fuel pump kicks on it has fuel. Now getting ECU code 8. I moved to spark. Didn't even bother just bought a new Distributor King
distributor. That came in today replaced old one. Still nothing. Still ECU code 8.
ECU code 8 is TDC sensor. Where is this sensor and could that sensor going bad cause this? Any help or Ideas would be great.
Thanks,

man i had a very similiar problem with my DA. first check to see when u turn the key in the "ON" position see if the fuel pump primes up. if not then that means the theres no power to the fuel pump. I went down the expensive way, and purchased a new distribitor, new main fuel relay, new plugs, and wires. to find out that if you have a blown "15A" fuse in ur driver side fuse box. under the alternator. top row. right next to 2 red fuses, but not on the same side as the 3 other "15A" fuses. pull that out and check it for splits or cracks. if so, replace with new fuse and then bingo u should fire right up.
I know the fuel pump kicks on when key is on. I unbolted the fuel line and turned the key on and watched gas fly out. I also checked all those fuses they are good. I'm stumped. Going to the store today to see if the have a TDC sensor and how much.
