Hello, first post here,
has anyone ever heard of a 4-auto conversion to a 5spd tip-tronic transmission? I've got a 98 RS and i drove a tip tronic in france for a week, and thought it was the coolest thing, and would love to have something original (or somewhat original) done to my integra.

For all intensive purposes, it's impossible.

But, as you probably know, if you have the money, anything can be done.

I just remember reading about how much of a disaster it is to try to swap a motor that had a triptronic tranny into a manual car. there is a ton more computeres and wiring that goes along with. it's going to cost top dollar, and is not worth it because it's cooler, imo...

Tiptronic is designed for people who only have one leg, are clutch retarded, or want to be cool without actually knowing how to drive with a clutch.
