Are all "short ram" intakes this loud?
I just got a el cheapo one off ebay and this sucker is loud. HAHA
So I am just wondering if all of them are this loud? It came with some bogus "screen" type filter that is the suck. I will probably buy a K&N to stick on the end but I was very supprised at how loud it is...

Yes all short ram intakes will be loud. One time I simply removed my resonator from my stock airbox, and just left the opening in the bottom of the airbox, and it was very loud, so an actual short ram intake will be even louder.
When I added the DIY Icebox pipe onto my stock airbox, noise levels went nearly back to stock.

are you talking to me?
I did a search on "Loud intake" didn't get anything, then tried "short ram" and got a shitload of stuff and gave up trying to sort through all the hits.
