Default car keeps overheating

I just had a b16 installed into my 95 civic si and my car overheats every two days.
Sometimes while driving you can hear a pshhhh noise, i assume its coolant leaking out from somewhere. I can not see any coolant leaking from anywhere. But after it overheats and i let it cool down the rad takes a whole bunch coolant.
When the car is at normal operating temp both the upper and lower rad hoses are hot...so its not the thermostat. Also the fan does not work (after the swap). I jumped the thermoswitch with a wire and the fan turned on. So i believe the thermoswitch is bad. But would that cause my car to overheat? Plus where is the coolant going?
Oh yeah, there is NO coolant in the oil and my car doesn't puff white smoke. So far i think that its a pin hole in one of the rad hoses somewhere. Anyone have any ideas?
