Assuming you plan on racing in the H1 hybrid class, using ctr pistons or any other Honda piston is OK. Classes H2 - H5 requires factory replacement pistons.

You are probably going to get flamed for asking questions first before trying to find out the answer. The license information is there if you take the time to read the HC and NASA stuff.

First of all you need to do some sort of driving school to increase your skills. Some of the popular schools are the following:
http://www.nasaproracing.net
http://www.scca.org
http://www.bondurant.com
http://www.skipbarber.com/
http://www.carguys.com
or http://www.racingschools.com/ for lots more info.

One you have the appropriate skills (you will know when this is), you will need to be certified. I'm still a few months away from even thinking about this, so I'm not 100% sure on the various routes that can be taken. I do know that the following organizations are great places to race:
http://www.nasaproracing.net
http://www.scca.org

In the meantime, enter as many autocrosses as you possibly can. They help you learn all sorts of things about a vehicle's ability and how you can make it do what you want it to do.

Also keep in mind that racing is increbily expensive. If you don't have a plentiful and steady income you may be getting in over your head.

The RR/Autox Forum FAQ ( https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=353425 ) has a ton more information than I could hope to spew out of my butt right now, so head there.

Good luck and have fun!

Obtain visa with $25K limit.

Max out visa.

When you're done with this, you will have a racing license and a race car

Wash, rinse repeat, as necessary.
