manual radiator fan switch?
my radiator fan never ever comes on, i checkd all the wires and they are all hooked up. i took the fan out and hooked it up to my friends teg and it worked fine. could my thermo switch be dead?
i was thinking i could just wire a manual switch to the fan so when im at the track i can always have it on while im letting my car idel.
what i need to know is where should i get the power source from? im gona need 12v correct?

Your fan switch is in the thermostat housing. Unplug that & use a paperclip to jumper the 2 wires together. With the key on that should make the fan run. If so, all you need to do is splice your switch across those wires. That way, when you're NOT at the track, the fan switch can still trigger the fans when you forget...
yes this is sorta old. but people always say "use the search function". so i did.
what all will i need? i.e. what kind of switch? (toggle?) what size wire? what size inline fuse? etc etc
i have been searching for a while. but most of them of spoon/mugen for sale threads. and the others dont seem to be of great help. i am doing this and also replacing my thermostat.
and with that said .... is an OEM replacement the best one to use?
btw .... b18b1, auto tranny, 95 teg. (thought that may help some)
