i was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the dinging noise when you open the door and your keys are still in the ignition without pulling a fuse and messing everything else up.

 

disconnect the buzzer/ringer.

Yeah i told my girl that's her new job, trying to firgure out where the dinging is coming from. Im pretty sure its somewhere over by the fusebox on the left side of the steering wheel but i havent had a chance to pull the dash out. Ill probably be doing it today so ill get back to you guys with an answer

 

remove the screw that hold on the black switch on the body for the door. The screw is the ground without it the bcm can't tell if the door is open so no ding.
