Gs-r's are quite rare, dispite the fact that you may think you see them from time to time we have struggled to find a Vin number much over 3000 for both years produced. The chassis is a DB2, and my friend, the car is already a classic in my eyes. people keep pulling the original engine out and doing swaps, or they get crashed all the time, the weather takes it's toll back east ... the numbers are getting smaller and smaller. folks do interior modifications, if you can find one just open the breathing a little and your good to go

Db2 is a 1994-1996 ls integra in japan. Also the 92-93 gsr integras are still called Da6's. The 90-93 4door integras are called Db1's.

LOL yea me too..

:cough: look at my name :cough:

Anyways, db2's are quite rare, and if you find one, I'd recommend pickin it up if its in good condition..and the whole "classic" thing..it depends on what your opinion makes a car a "classic", but if your asking if it has potential...yes!

You're really confused.

DA6 = 90-93 JDM Integra XSi
DB2 = USDM 92-93 GSR

You're confused and confusing others.

No such thing as DB2 3rd gen Integra LS in japan. There is a DB7 B18b powered 4 door integra ESi for model years 93.5-95. Everything else is either Dohc Vtec or Sohc.

And the DA6's, they aren't GSR's. Simialar body and suspension maybe, but different displacement engines. DA6's are 1.6L Vtec, not 1.7.

And isn't this what makes the 2nd Gen GSR's rare, only offered in North America.

p.s. http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/ModelData/integra/ . I don't read or speak Japanese, but it isn't hard to understand. http://world.altavista.com

I'd recommend the GS-R!

I've always wondered how rare they are, but I've never been able to find any information about that. Oh, and my #'s in my sig

A vehicle has to be 15 years old to be considered a classic, correct? In that case, next year the 2nd gen could be in the same class as a '69 Chevelle SS (somehow)
