Default AEM V2, 98 GSR

So I know there's a lot of topics on AEM V2 out there. I just need to know whether or not I'll need to put my stock intake back on or SRI during the raining season. I'm in the Bay Area, CA.

My concern is how much water has to be sucked up to damage the engine? I lowered my GSR w/ Neuspeeds Greens and it's 1.75 in the front (I get about a finger gap w/ stock rims) The filter is behind the passenger signal and the wheel guard and bottom guard are covering the filter.

Will freeway driving get water in the filter? If I hit puddles by accident, will I have an issue?

ive had mine on for almost a year now and have had no issues with it. Even in some pretty bad downpours, just be careful not to hit any huge puddles and you will be fine.
