i swear on the pictures it doesnt look like it,i calculated it too but through the numerous pic i seen the 55 looks lower

i believe the 205s are wider but the 55s are higher

195/205 is the width, 50/55 is the width

the 195/55/15 is only slightly taller than the 205/50/15...

here is the math...

195mm * .55 (Aspect Ratio 55%) = 107.25mm
107.25mm + 381mm (15 inches converted to mm) = 488.25 mm total height (19.22 inches)

205mm * .50 (Aspect Ratio 50%) = 102.5mm
102.5mm + 381mm (15 inches converted to mm) = 483.5 mm total Height (19.04 inches)

So the differance is the 195/55 is only .18 of an inch taller
