Can some one tell me how much power the NSX Type -R make? Is it 280hp or 350hp if it's 350hp that is dam good power.

 

found this link. try and make sense out of the japanese if you want, but there are two graphs toward the middle that look like dyno charts.

Just so you know that Honda shows 280 due to the Japan bhp law. The 3.0 and 3.2 Type-R's make a bit more than 280, but definately NOT anywhere near 350

The plain 3.2 made 290, so the R is closer to 300 I would believe.

 

I believe the R is close to 300 bhp

In germany they dynoed stock NSX-R with sport headers, it made 312HP on cranck.

 

Its called the Gentlemans agreement. Its BS too.

Japanese automakers underrate their cars to get around the 280HP limit placed on their cars. Anyone remember the Skyline GT-R?

 

The 280 law is going to end this year!!! Yeah Yeah Just in time for Honda to stuff a monster in the HSC, IF it ever gets built.

they shelfed the project and said it would not be built... ever. damn you honda, DAMN YOU!

Are you refering to the article in July’s issue of Automobile magazine? I think that article is 95% speculation. Here’s what Honda had to say.
