JDM ITR conversion on a '92 Civic Si
OK everyone,
I am kinda new to the JDM ITR conversion thing, but I saw a '92 Civic HB in last month's Super Street, and my question is this:
Has anyone on this site seen/done this conversion on a Civic? I figure that I need the bumper (urethane for me, thank you), headlights (black projectors), grill insert, and radiator support. It seems like I can modify the stock Civic fenders to fit the parking lamps, and get a Carbonfiber Civic hood, and grind it to fit the headlights. This is what I got out of the SS acticle, and my own observations. Is this about right, or am I looking for a world of hurt in attempting this. I don't think I can get the ITR fenders to match up very well b/c of the difference in the door line, and the lower part of the fender (by the door) bowing out, instead of in on the Civic. It looks like the Civic hood matches pretty well, except for the different headlight openings.
Any info will come in very handy.
Thanks,
Adrian
