Backing Plates - Who has them? Location?
EH2 Hatch
First off looking for a sponser who sells these. Forgive me my internet search and use time is nothing when at work. The net ****'s are watching as we speak!
Secondly the location I will be using these for is the inside belt of each driver and passenger seat on the metal hump, the shifter is connected too. Is this a safe mount location for the inside belts?
Looking for anyone that has these in use.

I guess you mean a backing plate for harnesses, they can be found here: http://www.racerwholesale.com/...dware
or many other places (www.ioportracing.com probably does, I don't remember). Whatever the case, they're like $2 or $3 each, I don't think you need a sponsor for that...

You really should consider mounting the lap belts to teh oem locations since these are beefed up for the use. Most racing shops (Racer Parts/Wholesale, Pegasus, etc) sell the correct bolts for OEM locations and back up plates and other hardware for mounting belts.
There are no stock mounting points with custom fab'd rails for my sparco seats. The 5th gen civic inner belt location mount was located on the stock seat rails. That is the purpose of using a backing plate. I have ordered them from racer's wholesale. As well as one for the sub belt.
No need for sponsers indeed.

Just make sure when you're drilling the hole for the sub-belt that you don't hit a brake line (not poking fun, apparently it's a common accident).
