Lift, duration, letter in the middle and the rings on the end of the intake cam, pretty much, um everything.

You need to get them tuned and an upgraded valvetrain to make the most of them.
I didn't notice any difference just dropping mine in either, but I wasn't expecting one.

USDM type r has more lift and duration compared to the b16a (jdm) BUT the Civic type r almost has the exact lift and duration except for the exhaust cams is has a little less compared to the USDM type r, the intake cams are the same.

Nah, I checked mine out and they're CTR's alright. They make a lot more noise but power-wise they weren't great and didn't show on the drag strip. Just needs tuning.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Quitripin &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">BUT the Civic type r almost has the exact lift and duration except for the exhaust cams is has a little less compared to the USDM type r, the intake cams are the same.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Actually, all CTR and ITR exhaust cams are virtually identical (though I'm not certain whether they share part numbers). The '00+ USDM ITR intake cam is also basically identical to the CTR's intake cam, while '97-'98 ITR intake cams have roughly 3 degrees less duration.
