Default crx w/ b18c1 supercharged swap

what do you guy think about this going in a 1988 crx si
What are the pros and cons?
the only thing the seller said it needed was the wire harness and spark plug wires
it was in a gsr, will i need new mounts for my crx?
thanks

It'll fit if thats your question.

You will use your si's engine harness for the swap, and you'll need to wire up a few thing vtec/oil pressure ect...

You will need mounts and this is where it could be tricky because some mounts place the engine a bit differently in relation to the front and rear of the bay.

My suggestion is to try the search feature, as this has been covered a ton of times. Do your research and see if this is what you really want.

Yeah you need b-series mounts like from HASport. Also I believe that you can use washer to adjust engine placement with the mounts. But SEARCH. Don't take my word for it.

Crap answers huh???

well thats not very nice

Coming from personal experience I urge you to becareful when considering these deals. Sure the offer looks good now, but theres no way to tell what shape the motors in (ie. compression, leakdown, etc.) Especially if you cant even see it in person. I think a few people on here, including myself, have been just a bit shocked and disappointed when what they thought they were getting turned out to be bogus or fuct.

If you are serious, talk to the guy selling it, and if he's serious about selling the setup he should be willing to assest you in anyway.

PS - that would be a BURLY setup in any EF chassis!!!!

the owner had 68k on his integra before he rebuilt almost every thing. rught now there is 14k on the rebulit item and he states he has reciepts.
He also stated he ran a 13 sec when the motor was in his gsr and it had a 7lbs pulley on the s/c.
I will be however checking this sick out thoroughly this week end
any further suggestions
