anyone with just a b16 with ctr cams and ctr pistons? how fast is that running in 1/4??


any fast b16 with ctr pistons?????????? please let me know whats up so i can have options of what i can do next. thanks.

 

anyone know what to expect from a b16 with ctr piston and jun2 cams?? any fast?? anyone have time and power of it?

CTR pistons are not going to determine how fast your car is. There are other stuff needed. I know a guy who has ctr pistons and his best 1/4 time was 12.98.

 

just want to know how much hp is made from just that. well, what is ur friend running to get 12s?

stock first gen b16 block.ported Gsr head and manifold., CTR cams.JG headers.
89 hatch, front and back seats with muffler attached.drove 85 miles to carlsbad tossed on some 20X8 slicks,ran it and drove back.
190 to the wheels and 113 TQ. dyno graph up on http://www.importreview.com

is there any shitty time with ctr parts in b16????

do you guys think axles are a good thing to get?? i mean aftermarket one. how much are they running for, i want to lauch at high rpm with breakin the gsr axles.
would the b16a with ctr piston and cams inside have enough power to break stock axles, let me know. thanks for all the post so far.

 

im building my b16 with ctr's right now

my setup is much like letholone's

except i got a stock gsr head, ctr int cam and gsr exh, chipped 28 in a 93 gutted hb

 

13.35 @ 98.17 mph

untuned and only running on 3 cyl
