Tein SS; easy to blow the strut?
Ive been driving around lately and it seems like in the rear passenger side; the strut is making a kinda bangin noise. Maybe Im hearing something else. The adjuster **** on the strut is kinda hard to turn either way as well....what is the chance that I blew it? I thought these things are supposed to be top notch?
From what Ive read only way to test is to take it out and see if it pushes the strut back out when I push it down. Also read soemthing about bouncing on the car to see how it moves?
Thanks for you replies.

Did you turn it past manf. settings?
When you installed the shock caps, did you hold the shaft in its orignal position with a wrench?
That will help to figure out your answer.
If you push down on the car hard a few times and let go, it should settle right away, if it keeps its bouncing motion for more than 1 stroke then you have a problem.

Really it shouldn't move at all when you push. Go push on some stock suspension car then push on yours, you will see what I mean.

best to take a look underneath the car and check for leaks along the strut. You might want to look at the bushings to see their condition and replace as needed.
