That's not normal, it's not shifting into overdrive (4th gear). Check to make sure you're in D4, and if so, then there is a problem causing the transmission not to upshift all the way.

Im using the gear ratio calulator from T-I
It says the following for a 1990-93 acua integra auto
80mph in 4th gear ~3750rpm
80mph in 3rd gear =5000rpm
So I dont think the problem is that you are in third gear. Maybe your speedo or your tach is off? Just my opinion Im not a transmission specialist.....
HTH
EDIT to answer your question the RPM at 60MPH is
5700rpm in 2nd
3750rpm in 3rd
2750rpm in 4th
These are not exact but they should be close.....+/- 250rpm

what size tires are you running? a larger tire circumference than stock will make the speedometer read slower than you're actually travelling.

unless the speedo was adjusted when the different tires were put on then that wouldn't affect apparent speed vs the RPMs. Would still be the same.

yes, but read his other question. his post before mine asked why his speedo showed 55 when he was going 65.

i have a G2 ls auto too.. i got some questions bout this also..
lets say you drive at 65mph rpms for me are at between 2900-3200 rpms.. (not sure if thats normal, you tell me) do you use more gas by being at higher RPMs? and is it bad for your engine to be running at those high of rpms for a period of time?
