Default d15b6 to a d16z6 in 89 crx hf?? and other ??

ok as far as I know since both engines are d-series engines they should just botl up right?

Will there be any problems of bolting the d15b6 intake manifold and exhaust manifold and tranny to the d16z6?
I understand teh hf tanny sucks ***** but for now I do not have the cash to replace that.
Also I believe the hf is multi-point fuel injected...is this true or not?

I was wodnering also if it's possible to get 200 wheel horsepower with an all motor set up using the d16z6? and will it still be a reliable daily driver?
Or would it just be easier to get a CARB legal turbo someday?

Either way I will need to upgrade the intake manifold nd throtle body from teh crapy hf (damn that thing is small as hell). So what's the best intake manifold and throtle body setup for a d16z6?

Ohh one more thing...I someday plan to get a crx si tranny (hear teh gearing is alot better)..or is there a better tranny to get?...I would like to set it up with Limited slip...whats the best way to go about that?
whats teh tranny code?

what's the d16z6 tranny code as well? p28? or p08 or something???

Eventually I want to put 16" rims on my car...if I do that, what would be the biggest tires to use that wouldn't reduce my turning radius or when turning hard wouldn't rub up again stuff?

umm that's it for now...I'm sure I'll think of something else sooner or later. Umm this is going to be an on going project now way in hell I can do it all in one go....just really excited about the engine LOL.

engine bolts right in but you'll need the bracket off of the old motor that's on the driver's side
im, em, and tranny will bolt up
i'm running the 4th gen im but hear the z6 manifold is better
z6 tranny is a hydro tranny so you'd have to convert over
i'm running 15" rims with 205/50 15 and i am having rubbing issues.
good luck

Keep your HF Tranny for now... It's not hard to change the tranny out later on when you get the money for an Si tranny. You don't need to do any converting on the tranny part unless you really wanted to use the Z6's tranny. The "P28" is the ECU (ECM) that works best with this motor.

Use the Z6 Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, and get a larger Intake, because if you use all your HF stuff you'll literally be choking your motor to death. I can help you out with any wiring... PM me or email me and I can give you ever detail you need on this motor swap into your HF.
