Are these seats considered upholstered?
I realize they are some what upholstered but knowing how picky the techs can be sometimes... i wanted to make sure they are legal for IDRC and NHRA street fwd

That is a plastic (poly) racing seat with a vinyl cover. I see no reason why someone could not use it. It meets the letter of the rules.....

I am about 6'0 200lbs and i fit in them fine...i have a friend that is BIG like 6'2 300+ and he cannot fit comfortably in them...it all depends on how bigger of a guy you are talking about. As far as street comfortable they are what they are...plastic or aluminum bases with minimal padding
