itr pistons in an ls
i am about to put itr's into my ls and put in a 2 layer head gasket and was wondering do i need to alter my timing any or not and can i just alter it with cam gears or will i have to get an ignition box to alter it and how much power do you think an ls with; a 2 layer head gasket, itr's, intake, tsudo header, clutchmaster 7.5lb flywheel, aem fuel rail, b&m fpr set at 40lbs, and a mildly p&p head and itm, will produce i am just curiuse i live in knoxille,tn and there is only like one dyno close to around here and it is a 2 hour drive so i am asking you all
i have itr pistons in my b18b that will be hopefully be swapped and running in a few days. with a 2 layer gasket and itr's you're looking at around 10.6-10.9 CR probably...
if i could do it again i'd opt for b16 pistons or JDM Itr's for the little extra bump in compression.

a friend of mine is running CTR pistons in an LSVTEC setup in an '86 CRX SI... his compression ratio is CRAZY... not a daily driver, though...
his car runs 12.5 @ 107...
