ttt.... does anyone have any experience with these... I'm curious if they're actually beneficial, or if they're just worthless, like they appear to be.

i put one of these on my dc... seems to work for me because i used to notice a slight skip on certain freeway interchages at higher speeds... after the install no skipping. also i went into a turn after a hill at a speed (which i will not mention) that was really fast. i though i was a goner for sure, but my car held up with no problems...

da chasis is different, so the mounting points are going to be off.

if you modify it, your compromising its strength. i would say keep shopping till you find the rite one.

it mounts using 4 existing bolts. the connecting arm bolts closest to the front of the car and two bolts directly above the sway bar that apear to just be screwed into the underside of the car for no reason (im sure there is a reason but thats just how they look). i am trying to find some information on the one i bought for my del sol because i swear i read somewhere that it is highly recomended that you use a sway bar w/ them.

Anymore feedback on these guys? Is this any better then just a strut bar, and a sway bar?

yes... aluminum is that strong. i just recently hit something on the freeway and the insurance adjuster told me that if that brace wasn't present, a sh*tload of damage could have been done to my suspension. the side of the car that was hit bent some arms and snapped a couple bolts. the brace held everything else together.

With the old adage, you get what you pay for, would this 35 dollar eBay brace work?
