Default do i need a new pressure plate or bushings?

after my last clutch cable snapped, i installed a new one, but adjusting it can't fix how hard shifting is. most of the time it is difficult to shift into gear (reverse makes an awful grinding noise too)- it kind of resists, and then i have to use some force to get it into gear. 4th and 5th are easier to shift into than the others. at random times, the shifting is normal and smooth...when the car is off, the car can shift smoothly in between all gears. at first i was thinking i needed a new clutch, but from searches on h-t it sounds like maybe its the pressure plate or new bushings that i need. any ideas?

yeah the spring on mine is bent so I don't think it throws out all the way, I go threw clutches like crazy. probably need to smooth off my flywheel to but it's not worth it right now

An easy way to fill your tranny is to get a fluid pump. This one works great.

I got mine at a local NAPA Parts store.

i ended up using something like this thing below (worst mistake ever), but couldnt get it to pump smoothly...i ended up just using a funnel and a long hose adding the mtf slowly...worked much better
