Problems installing JDM front end w/ OEM HID w/ A/C
I have a 1997 ITR with factory A/C and recently purchased a JDM front end along with the OEM HID headlights. The bodyshop that is currrently installing the front end told me the A/C will be an issue due to the 2 lines to my receiver drier being in the way of the ballast that is connected to the HID lights. The bodyshop recommeds removing these 2 lines, any way around this so I am able to retain my full A/C system ?
You would think a body shop would be smart enough to figure out that all you need to do is the bend the lines just a little bit
oh well, just listen to our advice and leave your A/C intact.

All I did was bend the A/C service port down. Fitment was perfect after that. Also, JDM A/C line that runs in the same place is a slightly diffrent shape and has the service port relocated to clear the ballast.

Thanks for all the advice guys. The bodyshop decided to not take the chance of bending the lines and was able to custom make some new lines that are routed out of the way of the ballast.

I hope they did it cheap because it literally takes 1 minute do this.
