Correct, koni yellows with the large sleeves and a smaller 2.5 inch perch.

lol, almost fooled me into believing those were advanced designs. how do you like the upper mounts? i've been meaning to get a set for my koni/gc set-up. did you just get fronts or rears too? does the front upper adjuster hit the hood?

get rid of those stupid socks.

Looks nice. Would there be any benefit in running the GC upper mounts on full coilovers like tein? Would they even be compatible?

GC Upper Units provide more travel. So, if you do not have barely any shock travel, then YES THEY WILL BE BENEFICIAL I run a set on my CRX and was able to get the car down to almost 5 inches off the ground and still have decent travel.

Anybody know if these GC upper mounts are legal for SCCA Street Prepared (FSP) autocross?

They're legal for STS, so they're probably legal for FSP. They're only kinda legal for STS, though [see multiple old discussions].

Yes they are legal in SP. There was a clarification rule change this year about upper mounts that allow these. Sorry, I do not have a rule book in front of me to give you the exact section number.

niiice set up..

do the front mounts clear your hood when they are closed?

I kinda have the same set up on my EG with Tein SS....I had Emerika on here extend OEM strut mounts for me a while back.....1in in the front and 1.75 in the rear, my hood wouldn't clear but I spaced it up....the mounts really compressed my springs and the car feels great......so to answer someones question yes it does benefit full body coilovers....

Thanks, and yes the upper mounts do clear the hood even with the koni's.

This will vary car to car. My 95 Integra, the passenger side just barely didn't clear some of the webbing on the back side of the hood. Easily fixed with a hammer, but don't just assume that everything fits.

Keeps the master cylinder's toes toasty warm on winter days.

Actually they are specifically worded as illegal for STS. It'd be nice if they were though.

Hide and soak.

Does GC still make those? My koni GC's are threaded end to end, they don't have the extended unthreaded sections. Those ones you got are prettier.

Cool!

My Midori will receive the same brand name coil(not OTS) and custom valving for the Koni next year.

The socks may sucks, but I have some and they keep the ooze(?) to be trap and keep the dust from road to stick on the cover.

It is ricey and bling, but it work

See, I've never noticed a loss in fluid from either of those resevoirs... so I always wondered if it really happened or that was a good excuse for Mugen and Spoon to sell flame retardant wrist bands...

Anyway, I prefer to be able to glance at my resevoirs to make sure they're full, instead of having to dick around with wrist bands.
