I have been noticing many little drips of water in the back of my car, and just general dampness. It is a 88 CRX Si and today I finally pin pointed that it is coming from the left hatch strut? Does anyone else have this same problem? The only thing that is cheap about my car is that I dont have the roof drips yet.

 

if its the hatch shock then just change it out. its not a leak? i had a leak in my ef that routed down the hatch shock, into the rear hatch area.

 

My hatch always leaks, from the hatch strut and from somewhere in the rear of my car. Thinking its the rear taillights. But its ok since i cut out my spare tire carrier ther is a hole in my back hatch that drains out all of the water.
On how to fix the problem it mught be from the hatch seal check that, thtas where mines leaking.

 

mine leaks too, and water comes out of the little square thing that leads you into the back spring spots.

 

my 88 CRX Si also leaks from the bottom of the hatch piston/struts. It also leaks into the dome light. I had to remove the dome light cover or it would fill up.
