Default Please Help W/install, 11-11-01, 5:20 pm

I just put a d16a6 in to a crxsi89 that came with a d15b7, Had it in last night, Did the timimg, TDC, adjusted valves, Testedto see if I had spark in all 4 cylinders, I do. Did a fuel test and un bolted the rail and turned on ignition, fuel flew every where, Fuel not an issue spark not either, turned it 180 degrees, To see if I had it 180 out, but that diddent work, Checked every fuse in car not by a light but by puling everyone out, checked under hood in my fuse box all good, also checked all my grounds in / out side car evan on the thermostat, turns over fine but no go, Double triple quadrupple checked fuel, fire, spark, fuses, grounds,
Can any one think and maybe I just misse something so simplle I forgot,
Iam 100 percent sure it no fses if any thing, just went throught that,(with the power up relay in all.)

thank you
Cole

You can have fuel and spark but if your wiring harness ground by the thermostat housing is loose or disconnected the car wont run. Check this first.

Pull the plugs, make sure its not flooded. If its dry, your injectors are probably not pulsing. If your absolutly sure everything is mechanically sound (timing, valves, etc) then try a shot of quick start into the throttle body. If it runs for a second, then you'll be sure about the injectors.

I must say thank you that responce was almost accurate. The rail had fuel, And spark was present, When I was putting the new one in, The fuel rail was being tugged on to clear all the BS. In the process the green 5/6 wire plug that sits on the drivers side , that tells the injectors when to open close was un clipped. So basically you were on it. Good Comment... It only took me 12pack, and 3:30am to find it, and I only looked at that area because I threw my 12mm wrench at the bay and thats where it landed. God works in mysterious ways, dut-ney...

no better feeling than finally getting your car to run after hours of troubleshooting.
After a swap, my one friend couldnt get his car to start for 2 days. I found that he didnt attach the thermostat ground wire. <----- electrical problems
