So im deciding if i want to buy one of these. My buddy Camp1320.com has a special on them but I would like a second opinion from H-T members. He sells the Golden eagle MFG girdle unlike the Z10 the GE one says these you do not need to machine the caps and they come with custom machined dowel pins to bolt right on??. I have 2 blocks a GSR and a LS should i buy it for the GSR or jus the LS or buy it for the GSR and use the stock one for the LS.??? anyone have any ideas or comments or pics?

im pretty sure he meant crank girdle not blockguard

 

It was for the Main Girdle for the LS/B16 cranks. I wish i had pics. Ill have Vince post pics and answer what the girdle's purpose is.
