Even though a CEL does not appear for a bad O2 sensor, the sensor can still be damaged and it can be sending bad information to the ECU causing the motor to run poorly.
how does an O2 sensor get damaged ?
sprayed with somethin over it?? i.e chemicals?...etc...
how much does an O2 sensor cost to fix ?
man this would suck if that guy damaged my O2 sensor. I hope it isnt expensive to fix.
thanks guys

i had the exact same problem with mine. I replaced my o2 censor thinking that was the problem, but it remaned the same. I then checked my fuel pump and figured out that it was bad. I replaced it and it ran fine.
You may want to just take a look at it.

Well if your car is cutting in and out while your driving and just running on low end then that is a sign of a bad fuel pump. You cant really check it unless you take it into a shop to electronically test it on a computer.
its like a couple hundred dollars. a 02 senser is about 60-70 dollars. 02 sensers are really easy to replace though. They are by the cadillac converter and you just take the old one out and plug in the new one. Just to let you know.
