Where to get a Type R motor Only?

Default Where to get a Type R motor Only?

I've searched and searched, but I couldnt find just a Type R motor, buddy of mine has the ecu and the tranny, but needs the motor, so where can is a place to go besides ebay, he needs the motor asap. Thanks!

Why not buy a swap and resell the tranny? might be easier then searching for just the motor..

He could always buy my longblock since I have the spoon longblock. Valve cover to oilpan...

how bout he buys a type r swap and ill buy the transmission from him. Im looking pretty hard for one and cant find any for sale by themselves either.

I was dealing with some guy a while back who was selling a longblock for around 2500. It had like 7000 miles on the engine and was purchased from Honda. Anyway, its in So Cal and he seemed to be really cool guy I just decided I wanted the Type R and not just the motor.
