FS: 1993 Nissan 240sx, Manual, CLEAN TITLE RUNS GREAT, MOSTLY STOCK, NO RUST STRAIGHT BODY. Excellen
I am selling my newly aquired 1993 Nissan 240sx. I've had it for maybe 1.5-2 months and it's just been sitting. Lost interst and have been pretty sick latly so I need to get rid of it. Ill try to describe it the best I can, I took a short video of it also but need somewhere to host it.
CAR: 1993 Nissan 240sx
VIN#: JN1MS36P9PW315942
Engine: KA24DE Dual Overhead CAM 155hp/150tq
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Drivetrain: RWD with LSD
Features: Alloy wheels, Tilt wheel, Powering Stearing, 4 wheel disc brakes, ICE COLD Air Conditioning
Extras: 3" Apexi exhaust, the whole way back. (Paid $649 for it) Sounds very nice and deep rumble, and excellet for turbo.
This car runs and drives great. The only real modification it has is the exhaust, I planned on doing the infamous sr20det swap but decided not to. This is the perfect project car. It needs a coat of paint. Obviously the car is in gray primer but the vast majority of the body work is complete. 123,xxx miles on it, the tranny shifts fine, no grinds in any gear. The only problem is with the brakes, it could be driven fine to wherever your going you just may want to fix it soon. The front left caliper top bolt broke or is stripped so its not completly attatched, makes noise but still works. The rear right brake is hanging, I havent gotten around to change that side yet but I do have the brakes already which you can have. It has brand new brakes on every other corner, and brand new spark plugs and wires. I haven't put more than 10 miles on it. The body work is pretty clean, you can change/add whatever you want before you paint but I think it's pretty good. The side skirts are molded in very nicly and I have to bolt the front bumper back up completly, right now it's sagging a bit. Also the front bumper support needs to be put back on, the bolt snapped for it when the previous owner tried to put it back on and just left it off. Ill also include 3 of the original steel wheels along with the entire original exhaust system and a few other misc things. Theres a crack in the windshield at the very bottom going the whole way across, its not high enough to be in sight and it passes inspection like this. Its done cracking so there shouldn't be any problem. Theres also a crack in the dash which is fairly large but hard to see i nthe video, its right above the cluster. Theres holes in the dash from where he had a Monster tach mounted, and the wires are still hanging out. Best solution is just to put another one in or a little tach might be less attrosive. I'll leave it upto you. The passenger window doesn't go down all the way, I havent bothered with it yet but that certainly shouldnt be a hard task to tackle. Other than these little imperfections your getting an awesome car and an excellent start to a project. Throw a coat of paint on it and drive it daily if you want, it was reliable enough for a 45 minute trip each way to school and back for the previous owner everyday so you should be alright. If you have any questions let me know, email me for the video or pictures. Im very aware with about $400 more in paint and labor I could problay get an additional $1000-$1500 out of it but I just want to get rid of it now. I'm going to start by asking $2200 obo and you guys take it from there. I need it out of here so come and get it and dont be affraid to make an offer. Thanks,
Matt
