Check Engine Light
So I start up my car yesterday and let it warm up for a couple of minutes, after that i shifted to first gear and accelerated, i Noticed the car didnt' have much power and it shaked when i accelerated like if it had a big engine. After a couple of minutes of driving the check engine light appear. After 10 minutes the car was driving normal with the check engine on, WHAT Could had happen?
Sounds like misfiring, or possibly mixed up firing order. Had you done anything to the car? Check the engine code thread at the top of the page, check the code, and let us know what you find...
what year of car
we're not mind readers... at least not over the internet
if it's 96-00, I'll bet there will be several codes, each indicating a missfire. It's a general catch-all code telling you the crank speed has fluctuated due to a missfire. So, check dizzy cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. Clear the codes, and VOILA!

Lots of things, have someone pull the code off the ECU and find out what it is. Not much we can do just by knowing it thru the light.
