well what i would do is to take the taillight OFF the car...btw what year is your car...cuz you wouldnt neccessarly need to take it apart...then just spray on it...if you dont have any experience with paint i would practice first...

get translucent paint also, black spray paint won't do the trick. I picked up a can called NightShades and it works nicely. and yes..please practice! If you really want to make them look smooth you can spray clearcoat on after and wetsand them for a glossy surface.

the only picnic would be the person behind me eating my dust.

And, that is a day picture. See the sun in the back ground? I made mine pretty dark.

To each their own as long as your happy with your Integra who cares what others think yeah?I won't flame your Integra its not that bad looking. To the original poster,do practice before you apply the paint to the tail lights because it easy to **** it up like I did with my Jetta back in 99

I'm not dissing your car - to each his own. I just think it's played out - I'm allowed to think that right?

I also am not fond of modifications that push the envelope of legality - why be a heat score??

Around where I live - you can't paint tailights period. They will ticket you.

There are plenty of things that are played out...OEM optional kit...Rota wheels, "JDM YO" lol know what I mean? Most people aren't past the point that everyone has their own likes/dislikes. I didn't take offense to anyone's comment...i just don't think some people understand, but obviously you do.

As for legality...for all the more that car has seen street time...I couldn't painted "F*** the police" all over it and it never would've gotten seen.

I was wondering this too, because I sprayed my clear altezzas red and they are starting to fade, so I wonder if i should respray or clean them up first?

But anyway, would lacquer make the plastic foggy or would it work ok? anyone try this before?

paint remover would eat the plastic lense and make the surface of the lense rough. in other words, YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE!!

laquer thinner will make em a little foggy, but if you're going to repaint em it doesn't matter. if you're going to keep em stock, just wax em up real good.
