woah woah woah.. i have a 94 gsr in my 99, and i never had to do any splicing....

just use your original harness ( cx, dx, whatever ) and plug that onto what ever you can of the original sensors on the GSR engine. Then run more wires from the sensors that arent' on the harness right to the ECU. Then get an adapter harness for the OBD I ecu and you are set.

You don't need your 97 ex harness...

I also reused my DX fuel rail and injectors; THEN you dont' have to rewire anything. They are OBD II so they will plug right into your original harness. AND since they are the same flow rate as the GSR ones, they will work fine ( 240cc i believe )

try to use the 97 ex ecu to start the gsr, dont worry about the obd2 to obd1 conversion harness until it gets running. check the check engine light codes, and post what your getting..

you could use the 97 ex harness. but I would just re-wire the 97 dx harness

need to have the codes before you can find out whats wrong with it

I disagree with that. use the adapter harness, and if you do get codes, it will be less then what you would have if you didn't use it. Because you're GOING to get codes if you use the OBD II ecu on the OBD I engine.

Yeah, you could use that, but I think all you gain is the extra wire for vtec if I'm thinking right.
