set up is as follows:

h&r sports
kyb agx's - usually set on 2f-3r or 3f-4r
nuespeed front 4 point strut bar
jdm itr rear strut bar
polyurathane strut mount bushings

the situation:
say im on the highway at 65 mph, and i swerve hard to avoid debris in my lane,well why does the car respond quick(good thing) but when swerving back u feel like the car sway/twist...or lets say im in a middle lane and just keep swerving the car back and forth it it feels like the car twisting.swaying instead of being able to remain flat and just turn back and forth insread of swaying back and forth,this makes the car feel unsafe when doing quick lane switches and once your in the lane u switched to it feels like the *** end still wan to go,not like break loose but swerve....

rear tie bar or itr sway bar will reduce that feeling,maybe up the tire pressure in the rear...thanks for any insight..

 

thats body roll for ya..sway bars should def help that out

 

Interesting question...i recently just got a itr sway bar 22mm....it reduce a little body roll on my car but also made my back end alot more loose then what i had b4 stock gsr sway....but i think for your feeling on the freeway...i think it's just the springs's itself and the shocks...i have H&R sports too and they are soft for what they are...i thought it would be more stiff for the drop they give you...my set up is Sports with Blues....and blues are gay...i'm planning to get some koni yellows...i know for sure if you have adjustable shocks...it will help alot more on the freeway because that it will rebound alot faster if u got them more stiff...answer to the your question will be getting better shocks...KONI YELLOWS

 

errr i hate it...i can even make lane changes as quick as i want cause i fear i"ll swerve all over the place...i like being able to snatchthe wheel into the next lane and having the car stop in the lane i switched to instead of feeling like its gonna swerve into the next lane or back into the lane i switched outta...

I have the same setup as you, minus the sway bar and bushings. I don't like it at all. There is way too much body roll. Just get some nice coilovers, and it will be better. I'm about to get the Zeal B6s, and I have to say, they are by far the best suspension that I have ridden on. I think that spring/shock setups aren't good for handling at all. I would never go that way again.

i had a similar problem. get an alignment done. your toe is probably off making your car feel like its going to spin out of control. one or more of the tires is probably pointing wrong ward

It's not allowed here, this isn't an adults-only website, and some people like myself read these pages at work, so NO we don't want any of that here.

If you have an SE, you probably have a 22mm swaybar up front (check to make sure). If so, you could upgrade to the GS-R/ITR/98+ LS 24mm front sway bar and also the 22mm ITR rear swaybar.

 

are you on stock tires? Is everything bolted down tight? With your mods body sway should be greatly reduced and turn-in should be much sharper. What you need to realize if you are running lo-pro tires is that they will tramline easily and follow ruts, also freeways tend to have deep ruts that you have to fight with. Your suspension is probably fine. But a rear bar is always a good thing for a front wheel drive car.

i'm kinda late on this, and I'll probably repeat stuff that's already been said, but here's what you might check out ...

1) alignment
2) swaybar and endlink bushings
3) front sway bar upgrade. I believe a bigger front sway will help with quick transitions.
