del sol shift linkage?
I am going to do a b18c1 swap and I have been reading forums and they say you need to change the shift linkage with a vtec del sol (b16) and not use the gsr one. I was wondering if you can use the shift linkage from a civic with a b16 in it? thanks a bunch for the info!
when swapping a bseries into a delsol, you HAVE to use DOHC (b16) del sol shift linkage. The under craige of the delsol has different curves compared to the integra, so del sol shift linkage is the only one you can really use.

The del sol VTEC b16a3 shift linkage is the ONLY shift linkage you can use with a swapped del sol. the other shift linkages dont clear the chassis and the b16a3 does. good luck finding it from a private party sale! i couldnt find mine from anywhere so i was forced to go to honda to get it... needless to say you need to save your paychecks to get a shift linkage from honda... look to spend around 300-400
heres the link for the del sol shift linkage
