Default Clutch adjustment q's...?

The clutch in my CRX seems to grab way out at the end of the pedal stroke, when the pedal is almost completely released.

I want the engagement to occur when the pedal is a little bit further in. Which way do I want to turn the adjustment nut on top of the release arm? I would want to turn it counter-clockwise, correct?

And will this make the pedal sit higher or not?

Thanks.

Alex

Loosen the cable so there is just barely any tension on it, and the clutch engagement will be "as far down as possible" and the pedal height will not change.
